Note Shop

The Hollow Merchant will sell you Equipment Notes for Crests. It's the Note's second source — the first is melting gear at the Scribe — and the main place your Crests (earned from Campaign and the Daily Journey Quest) find a home.

A Note is a socketable modifier — think of it as a gem you etch into a piece of gear against its Frequency budget. Buy one here and you can etch it onto your gear, or list it on the Bazaar for RSNC if it's not for you.

The daily shelf

Every day the Merchant lays out five notes, generated just for you — your shelf is yours alone, and it refreshes at 00:00 UTC. Each shows its rarity, its world, its lines, and a Crest price. Buy the ones you want; ignore the rest. There's no penalty for walking past all five.

Because every note is fully tradeable, a good roll you don't need isn't wasted — buy it and flip it on the Bazaar. That's the shop working as intended: it turns a Crest surplus into gear, or into RSNC.

Build your own — the weekly commission

Once per week you can commission one note: you choose the rarity and the exact lines, and the Merchant makes it. This is the holy grail — the perfect note, on demand.

  • Pick a rarity. A note's rarity is how many lines it carries — Rare 2, Mythic 3, Legendary 5.
  • Pick that many lines. Any mix of stats (HP, ATK, DEF, Speed) and effects (Crit, Lifesteal, Regen, Spikes, Cooldown, ATK/DEF Stack).
  • Pick a world. This sets how strong the stat lines are — and which gear the note can be etched onto (see below).

The price scales with the note's Frequency — the same budget it costs to etch. A big, five-line legendary fills an entire piece and is superb, so it costs a steep pile of Crests. A lean two-line note costs far less. You see the exact price before you buy.

One noun, one number, one choice

Crests are what you spend. The price on each note is the number. Buy it, flip it, or skip it is the only choice — the Merchant handles the rest.

Which gear can I etch it onto?

Every note the shop sells carries the world it was made for, and can only be etched onto gear of that world or deeper — the same rule as a melted note. A mystic-world note is enormous, but you'll need mystic-tier gear to socket it. So a deep-world note is an investment in where you're going, while a note in your current world is ready to use now. Pick to match your gear.

Earned economy, priced to stay honest

Crests are earned (Campaign and the Daily Journey Quest) and the shop's prices are tied to each note's Frequency, so buying-to-flip can't become free money — the price always tracks the note's real value. Notes bought here are ordinary Notes: tradeable, etchable, and destroyed when you socket them (you can overwrite or remove a socketed note, but you don't get it back).

Where to find it

The Note Shop lives in the Crest cloth of the Hollow Merchant, alongside the Team Slots and Celestial Trace. The five daily notes are up top; Build your own expands underneath.
