First Steps — Your First 10 Minutes

Updated 2026-06-06.

You don't need to know what Resonance is to get the most out of your first ten minutes. Sign in, say something in chat, and a starter kit lands in your inventory automatically — that's the whole shape of it. This page walks you through the first session end-to-end.

You're getting a Welcome Package

The moment you cross your first Activity Score event, the system airdrops a Welcome Package to your inventory: a random Standard producer, a starter stockpile of ingredients and materials, and 2,000 RSNC. No purchase, no claim flow on your end. Two more packages — Apprentice at Tune-In L5 and Novice at Tune-In L10 — land the same way as you climb.

Step 1 — Sign in

Head to perks.rsnc.network and sign in with Discord or email via Privy. Either path creates a secure wallet for you behind the scenes; you never have to manage it. See Sign In for the full flow.

Discord linking is required for the Welcome Package

The Welcome Package gates on a small anti-sybil check: you need both a Privy login and a linked Discord account, and the Discord account must be at least 30 days old. If your Discord account is younger than 30 days, you can still earn AS now — the package fires the moment the account ages in. Or come back when it does.

Brand-new players sometimes mistake this for a bug. It isn't; it's a deliberate gate to keep starter kits from being farmed.

If you signed in with email and want the package, link Discord from your profile menu — Link Accounts walks you through it.

Step 2 — Earn your first Activity Score

Any qualifying engagement event will do it. The easiest:

  • Say gm in a Resonance-bot channel (Resonance Official is a fine starting point)
  • React to a brand's announcement
  • Post a substantive message in a brand's chat (the bot's quality scorer picks it up in the background)

Activity Score (AS) is the platform's universal contribution metric. Every brand uses it. Every engagement feeds it. Your AS does three things at once: feeds your share of Monday's bounty payout, levels up your Tune-In frequency, and counts toward this onboarding gate.

You can check your AS at any time via the /streak slash command in Discord, or on the Effects tab at app.rsnc.network.

Step 3 — Your Welcome Package lands

The moment your first lifetime AS event lands, the bot posts a celebratory embed in the brand's Logs channel with a link straight to your inventory. No claim button on your end — the package is already in your inventory by the time you see the embed.

What's in the box:

ItemQuantity
Standard producer (random archetype)1
Each Standard ingredient10
Each Standard material10
RSNC2,000

The producer is one of five Kitchen archetypes — Astral Beehive, Frequency Garden, Echo Mushroom Cluster, Photon Aquarium, or Crystalline Reactor. The ingredient stockpile covers every Standard family, so whichever producer you got has matching seeds ready to plant. See Producers and Sub-Slots for what each archetype yields.

RSNC bypasses bounty mode

The 2,000 RSNC in your Welcome Package is paid in full regardless of the brand's payout mode. You receive it as RSNC immediately — it doesn't sit in a weekly bounty pool, doesn't compete for a share, doesn't wait until Monday. The same goes for the Apprentice and Novice packages.

Step 4 — Open your Welcome Package

Go to My Perks → Packs at perks.rsnc.network/my-perks?tab=packs. The Welcome Package sits at the top of the tab.

Click Open. The reveal flow:

  1. The producer mints to your Kitchen — show up under Harvest Area the moment the transaction lands.
  2. Ingredients and materials drop into Storage (visible in the Kitchen's Storage tab).
  3. The 2,000 RSNC posts to your balance immediately.

The open transaction takes roughly 10–15 seconds end to end. You don't need to refresh — the page updates as items arrive.

Step 5 — Plant your first producer

Once your producer lands, head to /kitchen → Harvest Area and drop the producer into Slot 1 (free at Tune-In L1).

Standard producers have 2 sub-slots. Pull two seeds from your Welcome Package that match your producer's family — for example, an Astral Beehive needs Sweet seeds (Stellar Honey, Astral Apple) — and plant one in each sub-slot. Done.

Standard producers fire on a 7–12 hour cadence. Come back later (the next day is fine) and you'll have a Claim button. See Kitchen Quickstart for the full producer flow.

Step 6 — Cook your first recipe

While you wait on your producer, the Welcome Package's ingredient stockpile is enough to cook a starter recipe right now. The easiest first cook:

  • Pulse Bread — Level 1, 80% base success, 30-minute cook, consumes 2 Pulse Egg + 3 Harmonic Herbs.

Open Cooking Area → Slot 1 (free at L1), select Pulse Bread, click Start Cook. 30 minutes later the result mints into Storage with a reveal modal showing the rolled rarity. With 80% base success and no equipment yet, you're well above the par success curve for a Level 1 recipe.

Cooking is half the loop — see Recipes and Cooking for what every recipe does and how Skill, Speed, and Elegance shape your outputs.

What comes next

The Welcome Package is the first of three onboarding airdrops. As you keep earning AS, two more land automatically when you cross specific Tune-In milestones:

PackTriggerContents
WelcomeFirst lifetime AS event (Discord linked, account ≥ 30 days)1× random Standard producer + 10× each Standard ingredient + 10× each Standard material + 2,000 RSNC
ApprenticeCross Tune-In L51× random Rare producer + 5× each Standard material + 1× random Standard equipment + 5,000 RSNC
NoviceCross Tune-In L101× random Rare producer + 3× each Rare ingredient + 1× random Rare equipment + 10,000 RSNC

All three land the same way: the package is airdropped to your inventory, the bot posts a celebratory embed in the brand's Logs channel, and you open via My Perks → Packs. No claim chases, no purchase flows. The RSNC in every package bypasses bounty mode.

At the rate AS accumulates from normal engagement, L5 is typically reachable in your first week and L10 within two to three weeks of consistent participation. See Tune In for the full level curve and what else opens at each milestone.

Why bounty mode is good for newcomers

Most Resonance brands run on Bounty Mode: instead of paying out RSNC per event, the brand pools their weekly RSNC budget and distributes it on Monday morning, weighted by every active user's Activity Score. See Bounty Mode for the math.

The implication for a newcomer: every AS you earn is a real share of a real payout, even in your first week, even if you only post a handful of times. There's no per-event RSNC threshold to clear. You don't have to hit a streak or a level before contributions start mattering. A few gms and a couple of substantive messages land you a meaningful slice of the Monday bounty alongside the package airdrops.

The Tune-In side compounds: the AS you earn for the bounty share also feeds your Tune-In level, which unlocks the Apprentice and Novice packages, the Kitchen's higher slot tiers, and a permanent discount on every RSNC spend in the platform.
