Tune-In
Tune-In is your global level, and it's the master gate for most of what you can do. It rises as you earn Activity Score, and it drives four things at once: slot unlocks (producer plots + cooking lanes), cook-success rate, your RSNC spend discount, and your Discord milestone roles. Understanding it is how you decide what to grind toward next.
Tune-In lives in Settings → Profile at play.rsnc.network, and /streak shows it in Discord. It is no longer an "Alchemy" tab — that surface was retired; the leveling itself is unchanged.
How you level: Activity Score feeds Tune-In
Tune-In is fed by Activity Score, not by burning RSNC. Every qualifying action you take — across Discord, brand websites, and the Kitchen — emits Activity Score, and your AS feeds your Tune-In level in the same write (earn-as-you-go).
Weekly cap: 10,000 AS per ISO week. Once you hit that ceiling in a given week, further engagement is still logged but emits 0 additional AS until the Monday rollover. (Kitchen cooking has its own separate 5,000 AS/week craft bucket — see Activity Score.)
The scale runs L1–L90 across nine Solfeggio tiers, then Resonate (L91+) beyond.
What Tune-In gives you
1. Slot & feature gates
Leveling up unlocks producer plots and cooking lanes across the Kitchen:
| Level | What opens |
|---|---|
| L1 | 1 producer plot + 1 cooking lane |
| L5 | 2 producer plots + 2 cooking lanes; Avatar forging (a Kitchen cook) |
| L15 | 3 producer plots + 3 cooking lanes — the Tune-In cap on free slots |
| L20 | Deep Reply event eligibility (with a Rare Quest Pack) |
| L30 | Perk Gate (gate perks by minimum Tune-In level) |
Producer plots 4–6 and cooking lane 4 are not Tune-In unlocks — plots 4/5 are paid, and plot 6 plus the 4th cooking lane are Signal subscriber bonuses. See Kitchen Reference — slot unlocks.
2. Cook-success rate
Your Tune-In level is a primary input to every cook's success rate: your cooking skill points come from Tune-In level plus Kitchen Level plus equipment, measured against the recipe's difficulty. Raising Tune-In makes every recipe easier to cook before you even touch equipment.
3. RSNC spending discount
Tune-In applies a diminishing discount to every RSNC spend on the platform. USDSC pricing stays flat (parity-protected); the discount is RSNC-side only.
| Level | RSNC discount |
|---|---|
| L1 | 0% |
| L5 | 2% |
| L10 | 5% |
| L20 | 8% |
| L50 | 13% |
| L90 (Resonate) | 20% (capped) |
So an L20 user spending RSNC on a 1,000-RSNC perk pays 920 RSNC. The USDSC alternative is always exactly 1 USDSC for that perk, regardless of level. See Pay-or-Play Parity.
4. Discord milestone roles
Every time you cross one of the nine Solfeggio milestones (L10, 20, …, 90), the bot auto-grants the matching Discord role on every server that has bound one. Each role carries the permissions and event access that server's admins attached — thread participation, voice, brand channels, and so on. Roles land within a few seconds of your AS push crossing a threshold; a cron reconciles missed grants every 5 minutes.
Resonance Official's role bundle: Foundation (L10), Restoration (L20), Liberation (L30), Transformation (L40), Miracles (L50), Connection (L60), Expression (L70), Intuition (L80), Awakening (L90). Other servers vary — check
/tune-role list.
The Solfeggio tier curve
Levels are grouped into 9 Solfeggio tiers of 10 levels each. Each tier has its own total AS cost, and within a tier the 10th level (the milestone) is the most expensive single level — about 22% of that tier's cost.
| Solfeggio tier | Hz | Levels | Tier cost (AS) | Cumulative AS at top |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation | 174 Hz | 1–10 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| Restoration | 285 Hz | 11–20 | 10,000 | 15,000 |
| Liberation | 396 Hz | 21–30 | 15,000 | 30,000 |
| Transformation | 417 Hz | 31–40 | 20,000 | 50,000 |
| Miracles | 528 Hz | 41–50 | 25,000 | 75,000 |
| Connection | 639 Hz | 51–60 | 30,000 | 105,000 |
| Expression | 741 Hz | 61–70 | 55,000 | 160,000 |
| Intuition | 852 Hz | 71–80 | 60,000 | 220,000 |
| Awakening | 963 Hz | 81–90 | 80,000 | 300,000 |
Resonate (L91+) runs on a separate escalating model — a base chunk of 100,000 AS per 10 levels, escalating ×1.10 each chunk.
Time-to-level at the weekly cap
If you earn the full 10,000 AS every week, the cumulative thresholds give a clean planning horizon:
| To reach | AS needed | Weeks at max grind |
|---|---|---|
| L10 (Foundation) | 5,000 | < 1 week |
| L20 (Restoration) | 15,000 | ~1.5 weeks |
| L30 (Liberation) | 30,000 | ~3 weeks |
| L40 (Transformation) | 50,000 | ~5 weeks |
| L50 (Miracles) | 75,000 | ~7.5 weeks |
| L60 (Connection) | 105,000 | ~10.5 weeks |
| L70 (Expression) | 160,000 | ~16 weeks (~4 months) |
| L80 (Intuition) | 220,000 | ~22 weeks |
| L90 (Awakening) | 300,000 | ~30 weeks |
A casual player at ~1,500 AS/week (15% of the cap) still reaches L10 in 3–4 weeks and L20 in ~10 weeks. The cap is a deliberate flex: pros plateau at 10K/week, casuals stay in reach.
Tune-In and Mailbox rolls
Your Tune-In level also sets how many Kitchen Mailbox rolls you get per day — one more roll every 20 levels:
| Tune-In level | Mailbox rolls / day |
|---|---|
| L1 – L19 | 1 |
| L20 – L39 | 2 |
| L40 – L59 | 3 |
| L60 – L79 | 4 |
| L80+ | 5 |
