How to Earn RSNC

Big change: how payouts work (May 2026)

Most brands are migrating to Bounty Mode — instead of paying RSNC per event in real time, they emit Activity Score per event and distribute their weekly RSNC budget as a single Monday-morning payout, weighted by your AS share.

Resonance Official flips to Bounty Mode on Mon 2026-05-18. Other brands NOT yet on Bounty Mode (legacy/additive path) still emit RSNC per event. AS is the engine in both cases.

You'll see your Activity Score (this week) in /cooldowns, and your Lifetime Activity Score in the Alchemy → Effects tab. Both are real; both matter.

There are three main ways to earn — through Discord, brand websites, and social media. The earning surface is the same regardless of bounty mode; what changes is when the RSNC lands in your balance.

Multipliers & Bonuses​

Multipliers apply on the legacy/additive path (brands not yet on Bounty Mode). On Bounty Mode brands, your weekly payout is purely your AS share of the pool — multipliers don't apply to the bounty payout itself.

The legacy stack:

  • Tune In Generation Boost — historical +50% at L10, +101% at L20, capped at +400% from L80+. Continues to apply on additive brands. (On Bounty Mode brands, Tune-In's role shifts to discounting RSNC spends, gating Quest Packs, and unlocking more AS-eligible event categories.)
  • Gear Set Bonuses — complete a full 6-slot Gear set for +5% (Standard), +15% (Rare), or +25% (Mythic).
  • Streaks — consistent daily activity raises a streak multiplier, capped.
  • Milestone Bonuses — hit streak milestones (7/14/30 days…) for one-time bonuses.
  • Server multipliers — individual brands can boost their own economy during events or launches.
  • Role bonuses — some servers give extra rewards to members with specific Discord roles.
  • Signal Subscription +6% — applies on additive brands; excluded from bounty payouts (anti-farm).

Access, Not Just Rate​

Past Tune-In L10, new earning paths open that don't exist for lower levels — Stage Host at L10, Deep Reply at L20, Conversation Starter at L30, all the way to Dawn Patrol at L90. Each one has its own trigger, charges, cooldown, and reward.

On Bounty Mode brands, Quest Packs are the additional gate — buying a pack unlocks event categories (threads, engagement, voice, on-chain) to emit AS. Without a pack, only the core events (daily, social, quality) emit AS.

Tips for Maximizing Earnings​

  1. Participate consistently — Bounty Mode pays for sustained AS share. A steady week beats a single-day spike.
  2. Run /cooldowns weekly — it shows your weekly AS, projected bounty share, what you qualify for, and what unlocks next.
  3. Check in daily — /daily builds your streak multiplier AND emits AS toward your bounty share.
  4. Link your accounts so earning from every platform consolidates to one balance (Link Accounts).
  5. Post genuinely — /analyze shows your recent quality score. Short or templated messages score near zero.
  6. Hold a Quest Pack (when they go live Mon 2026-05-25) to unlock more AS-eligible event categories — thread / engagement / voice / on-chain.
  7. Open the Mailbox daily — free items, scales with Tune-In level.
  8. Join multiple brands — Tune-In progress and AS apply on every Resonance-enabled server.
