Mailbox

The Mailbox is your free daily drop. It opens once per day and rolls a mix of ingredients, materials, and (rarely) higher-tier items.
Mailbox items now display with a single tier chip showing the actual rolled rarity — e.g. "Stellar Honey" with a Mythical chip. Old behavior showed the item name with its tier baked in and a separate tier chip ("Stellar Honey (Mythic)" + STANDARD chip), which was a regular source of "wait, which is it" confusion. Same fix applies to Discord drop announcements — no more "Rare Stellar Honey (Rare)" double-labeling.
How many rolls you get
Roll count scales with your Tune-In level — every 20 levels grants +1 roll, capped at 5.

Signal subscribers get a +1 rarity bias on each roll (does NOT add an extra roll — it shifts the rarity distribution toward higher tiers).
What can drop

The per-roll rarity distribution reuses the existing Mulcher curve shape — predictable percentages that shift toward higher rarities as your Tune-In tier rises. Exact percentages are finalized in the Kitchen V2 cutover release notes.
How to claim
Open the Kitchen tab in Alchemy, navigate to the Mailbox, and click the mystery envelope. The roll is animated and added to your storage.
You don't have to claim every day — unclaimed rolls accumulate. But there's a cap on how many can sit unopened (limit set at cutover). Open regularly to avoid losing rolls past the cap.
Streaks
Opening the mailbox counts toward your Streak counter alongside gm check-ins, recipe starts, and harvest claims. Any one of those four actions per day keeps your streak alive.
Strategy notes
- Open daily. The cap on unopened rolls means a long break can cost you items.
- Stack the roll boost. Echo Espresso (permanent recipe) grants +1 mailbox roll today, and Photon Soufflé (Flash) grants +1 roll for 24h. If you have a Tune-In L80 user (4 rolls) + Signal sub (+1 rarity bias) + both boost recipes active, that's 6 high-rarity rolls in a day.
- Don't rely on the Mailbox for specific items. It's a mystery box — fun, free, but not where you go to plan a specific build.
