Mailbox
The Mailbox is the one Kitchen habit that costs you nothing: a free daily drop of ingredients, materials, and the occasional higher-tier item. The only decision it asks is how high to push your Tune-In level — because Tune-In is what grants your Mailbox rolls.
How many rolls you get
Your Tune-In level grants your Mailbox rolls: the higher your Tune-In, the more rolls per day, up to a cap. As a general shape, rolls step up roughly every ~20 Tune-In levels toward a small maximum.
Roll counts are tuned over time, so treat the "~every 20 levels" shape as a guide, not a contract. Your Kitchen header shows how many rolls you actually have today — that's the source of truth.
Signal subscribers get a rarity bias on each roll — it shifts the distribution toward higher tiers rather than adding an extra roll.
The Mailbox rolls a top-down cascade — it checks Mythical first, then Rare, then Standard — so a single roll can jump straight to Mythical without passing through Rare. The exact odds (and how they scale with Tune-In, capped at 20% Mythical) are on Rarity & Odds.
What can drop
| Drop type | Frequency |
|---|---|
| Ingredients (Sweet / Vegetal / Earth / Protein / Crystal family items) | Most common — Standard rarity |
| Materials (recipe inputs, Ascension fragments) | Mid-frequency |
| Equipment pieces (low-tier mostly, occasional Rare) | Less common |
| Cultivator (Standard usually; Rare/Mythical scales with Tune-In) | Rare |
The per-roll rarity distribution shifts toward higher rarities as your Tune-In tier rises.
How to claim
Open the Kitchen at play.rsnc.network, go to the Mailbox, and tap the mystery envelope. The roll is animated and added to your inventory.
You don't have to claim every day — unclaimed rolls accumulate up to a cap. Open regularly so you don't lose rolls past that ceiling.
Streaks
Opening the Mailbox counts toward your Streak alongside gm check-ins, recipe starts, and harvest claims. Any one of those actions per day keeps your streak alive.
Strategy notes
- Open daily. The cap on unopened rolls means a long break can cost you items.
- Push Tune-In for more rolls. Since rolls are gated by Tune-In, leveling it up is the only way to add rolls; a Signal subscription then biases each roll toward higher rarity.
- Don't plan a build around the Mailbox. It's a mystery box — free and fun, but not where you go for a specific item.
