Adventure — The Journey
The Journey is designed and pre-build as of June 2026 — it begins after the Arena Alpha settles. This page explains how it will work. Exact numbers may change.
The Journey is the solo side of the game. You take a team of three fighters through a node-by-node campaign — fighting curated enemy teams, earning loot, and getting steadily stronger. If the Arena is where you prove your team, the Journey is where you build it.
The loop
You spend energy to challenge a node. Each node is a battle (same automatic 3v3 combat as the Arena) against a set enemy team. Clear it and you get loot — which feeds the rest of the game:
Spend energy → clear a node → earn loot
ingredients → Kitchen recipes
materials → Forge new fighters
gear → equip or Ascend your fighters
RSNC + rewards (Tune-In, weekly payout)
↓
stronger fighters → harder nodes + better Arena standing → repeat
The map
The campaign is organized Region → Chapter → Node:

| Region | A whole area themed to a season's type (Volcanic, Storm, …). A new region opens each 28-day season. |
| Chapter | A story arc within a region (5 per region). |
| Node | A single battle. 12 per chapter, ending in a boss. |
Node types keep it varied — and reward keeping a roster, not one "best team":
- Standard — core fights that teach the chapter's theme.
- Elite — tougher stat-checks with a chance to drop gear.
- Swarm — waves of weak enemies (the "can your team hit lots of targets?" check).
- Boss — a big single enemy at the end of each chapter (the "can your team burst one tough target?" check).
Because different nodes demand different builds, you'll want a few specialized fighters rather than one all-rounder.
Energy — your daily pace
Energy is the only limit on how much you play (no per-node caps).
- Your pool is 120 energy, and it refills on its own — about 1 energy every 6 minutes (a full refill roughly twice a day). A higher level (Tune-In) raises your pool.
- Nodes cost energy by type: Standard 6 · Elite 10 · Swarm 12 · Boss 15.
- A normal day's energy comfortably covers 20–30 standard fights — a real session, no grind obligation.
- In a hurry? You can refill with RSNC up to 3 times a day (50 → 100 → 200 RSNC). It's a handy boost, not an infinite advantage.
First clear vs. farming
- First time you clear a node — a rich reward: rewards, ingredients, materials, sometimes gear, sometimes RSNC.
- Replaying or sweeping a node you've mastered — a lean farming reward (ingredients and materials) to keep your Kitchen and Forge stocked. Sweeping saves time, not energy.
There's no combat XP — your fighters grow only through Ascension (in the Forge). The Journey's progression is the map itself and the loot it feeds.
Rewards
Clearing nodes earns rewards (your weekly RSNC + your level), ingredients, materials, gear, and RSNC milestones for first-clears and finishing chapters. It all flows back into the same balance and level everything else uses — one economy, no separate Journey currency.
