Forging Avatars

Minting a new Avatar happens right on your Roster — tap the Forge Avatar button at the top of the Roster tab. It's instant: pick a role, spend your Avatar Essence, and your new fighter is minted on the spot — no cook slot, no cook timer, no trip to the Kitchen. (The old "Forge New Avatar" Kitchen cook and the even older destructive six-gear Forge are both retired.)

The decision — forge new, or deepen what you have?

A new Avatar starts at the bottom — Essence Tier 0, a 250 stat budget — and needs its own Equipment, Skills, and Essence climb. Forge when you need a new role or class for a team; otherwise your Essence usually goes further growing a fighter you already field.

Standard forge — roll the class

The Forge Avatar button mints one new Avatar instantly:

The role is the one thing you choose up front. Everything else — class, element, stats — is rolled, and you grow the fighter from there.

Premium forge — pin the class

If you want to choose the new Avatar's class instead of leaving it to chance, use the premium variant. It costs 3 Aspect tokens of the same class plus 150 Avatar Essence, and the Avatar mints as that class. (Standard forging rolls the class for 25 Essence; premium is the guaranteed-class path.)

Aspects ("Aspect of the <Class>" tokens) drop from the Journey — higher on Elite, Boss, and Swarm nodes — so a committed premium forge means banking three same-class Aspects first.

Where Avatar Essence comes from

Avatar Essence is the fuel for forging (and for Essence upgrades, Glyph cooks, and Ascension). Main sources: your one-time starter grant of 105 Essence (dropped when you finish onboarding — enough to forge your first team of three), the Journey (first-clears, chapter/sprint completions, sweeps), Discord loot drops, and essence-synthesis cooks. See Essence for the full breakdown.
