On the Horizon
You found the workshop door. Behind it are things we're building, wiring up, and quietly testing β glimpsed early, before the paint's dry. Consider this an easter egg for the players paying attention: a teaser reel of what might be coming, if it survives the bench.
Everything on this page is unreleased β flag-gated, operator-only, or staged for a slow roll-out. Names, numbers, and rules may change, and any of it may never ship as described. Read it as a peek, not a promise. If a feature here isn't in your game, that's expected β it isn't out.
Research Scrollsβ
A brand-new currency earned through the Research Center. The twist: Scrolls don't auto-bank β you claim them into a small stored balance (cap around five), and once you're at cap, further Scrolls overflow into RSNC, so they're never wasted. Early sinks being wired up include buying a world's recipe book for "15 Chits + 1 Scroll" and paying a Scroll to dispatch a Militia Bounty.
The Menagerie Expeditionβ
A pet idler for your Geneticist menagerie. Lock in your strongest pets, send them on a timed expedition into an open world β short, medium, or long β then watch the countdown and collect a frozen haul of Essence and eggs when they come home. True to form: one noun (your Menagerie Power), one number (the timer), one choice (which world).
The Daily Egg Stallβ
A daily RSNC checkout for eggs, with grade tiers running from a cheaper world grade up to a pricey prime grade β odds bars and the real egg art right there so you know what you're paying for. The important twist: the rarest Celestial eggs stay Hatchery-only and will never be buyable, so the stall can't tip into pay-to-win. See the Geneticist for the pets these hatch.
The Dissonant Bossβ
A real, killable milestone boss tied to each world's Dissonance climb β its nine class portraits are already drawn. Fell it and you earn a tiered gear-chest bundle, once per player per boss-day, and it gets richer the deeper the tier you beat it at β the very top tier even drops a Cacophony Coffer. For the gear it feeds, see Dissonant elevation.
Celestial Relic class effectsβ
The capstone of the gear ladder. Every Celestial Relic is set to carry a marquee, class-defining combat effect unique to each of the 27 class-and-role specs β think a bigger meter, faster meter gain, or a signature passive rider, the kind of thing that changes how your spec feels to play. They'll be bind-free and won't be Bazaar-tradable. See where they'd sit on your equipment.
Fight the Dissonance (daily)β
The Journey Log's daily quest, reimagined as a single cumulative score meter against one rotating world each day, paying a five-rung reward ladder of Crests and chests. One meter, clear rewards, and locked rungs shown rather than hidden β so you always see what the next tier pays before you reach for it.
Rune Descentβ
The first ChefβCultivator crossover. Burn a basket of Runes and Sparks (cooked up by Chefs) at a Cultivator dig site to "descend" deeper β a longer dig that raises the odds of rarer relics. Two Voices, one loop: the kitchen feeds the dig, the dig pays the collector.
Vestiges & Artifactsβ
The collection-and-spend side of Cultivation. Melt duplicate relics into fungible Vestiges, then redeem a handful of Vestiges to mint an Artifact β so a stack of repeats you'd otherwise shrug at becomes the path to something you can't pull any other way. Strictly earn-only β never bought with RSNC.
Echo's Boon & Echo's Blessingβ
A gentle new-player power on-ramp. Echo lends new Resonators a temporary combat lift on arrival in Cinderfall that tapers as your own power grows and bows out by the first chapter boss β paired with a re-sloped battle-level curve so Level 1 already fights near the strength of a ten-levels-deeper veteran. Crucially, it's excluded from Trials and the World Boss, so the boost smooths the first steps without ever buying an unfair edge. New here? Start at Getting Started.
Echo is the voice that greets you at the gate β and he lets go on purpose, right about the time you've found your own feet.
That's the peek behind the curtain. Some of it will land, some will change beyond recognition, and some may quietly go back on the shelf β that's the workshop. Keep an eye on your Kitchen, your Roster, and the map; the door swings open one flag at a time, and the players paying attention tend to be first through it.
