SkyScape — Sonentius: Raise the Soneian SkyScape

Live now

The Sonentius event is open. On play.rsnc.network the SkyScape tab, the Sonentius Journey world, and all its recipes and materials are unlocked — head in and start contributing. This page is your full playbook: the story, the loop, the complete material catalog, and every recipe. Numbers here track the live game data and may still be tuned as the event runs.

Sonentius: Raise the Soneian SkyScape. A frontier planet holds the ruins of an ancient orbital megastructure that once hung in its sky. It is sleeping, and it is hostile. Brave the surface to gather its buried wealth, refine and assemble it in the Kitchen, and — together, as one community — raise the SkyScape back into the heavens, one layer at a time.

Two things make Sonentius a campaign and not a checklist:

  • It's collaborative. Nobody rebuilds the SkyScape alone. Every builder's contribution is welded into the same rising structure and the same global goal.
  • It's a journey with real danger. The materials don't come from a shop — they're mined and hunted out of a world that fights back, from living ore that strikes when struck to a guardian that wakes at the bottom.

Everything you make in Sonentius is earned only — none of it is on the marketplace Buy grid.

1. The world of Sonentius

Long before the first builder arrived, the Cold Signal was already calling — a faint, patient pulse threading the dark between stars. It led explorers to Sonentius, a planet on the edge of the Soneium frontier, cradling the ruins of the Soneian SkyScape: a continent-spanning orbital lattice that once crowned this world and now sprawls dormant across its broken horizon.

They found it sleeping. Spires the colour of dawn, half-drowned in drift-sand. Coolant rivers frozen mid-flow. Vast alien engines holding their breath beneath an age of dust. Breathtaking — and hostile. Its crust is alive with animate rock-beasts that guard the ore inside them; its hollows teem with xenofauna; its rifts leak void-wraiths and its storms are weaponized. Beneath the silence, unmistakably, something is still alive — waiting for hands willing to wake it.

That's the invitation. The world's wealth has to be mined, hunted, and hauled out under threat, then refined and assembled by the whole community to raise the SkyScape again, layer by layer, from the shattered ground to the orbital crown.

2. How the campaign works — three systems, one monument

A committed builder's loop runs across three of the game's core systems, not one. That's the point: Sonentius pulls you through the whole game.

JOURNEY (gather, under threat) KITCHEN (refine) KITCHEN (assemble - contribute)
mine ore / hunt fauna -> smelt ore - ingots -> combine mats into
living ore veins, xenofauna forge voidsteel SkyScape Fragments
(Home Base producers too) (+ produce Aetherspore) every success feeds the goal
  1. Gather raw Sonentius materials in the Journey event world — and/or run Home Base producers to accrue ore passively.
  2. Refine ore into ingots in the Kitchen (Smelt Sonentite, Forge Voidsteel).
  3. Produce the gated rare material — Cultivated Aetherspore — from a Resonance Foundry you build and feed.
  4. Assemble Sonentius Fragments — the contribution token — to raise the shared build.
  5. Forge the Legendaries — the Sonentius Pickaxe and Sonentius Scope — the payoff at the top of the road.

Every Fragment anyone contributes rolls into one global total. As that total climbs, the SkyScape rises through its named layers, the next Chronicle chapter unlocks, and everyone shares the milestone rewards. And raising the monument isn't the finish line — it opens a second phase, the Ground Base, where the community settles in beneath the SkyScape and holds it against a daily World Boss.

3. The Journey — expedition into the ruins planet

The surface of Sonentius is a Journey event world: an expedition beneath the SkyScape you're rebuilding. This is where materials come from, and the clever twist is that combat is gathering — your avatars break living ore veins to free the metal inside, and hunt xenofauna for protein and resin. Same fights, two harvests.

You descend through three chapters, and the world itself gets heavier the deeper you go — each chapter lays a landscape debuff on your team only (the native creatures are immune; the world is fighting you):

ChapterWhereWhat the world does to you
The Landing FieldsDrift-sand ruins, skittering vermin, ore that twitches when struckThe dunes drag at every step — −15% team speed
The Foundry RiftsInto the crevasses: living ore veins, void-touched fauna, roused sentinelsThe sand plus an ore-current bleed — damage every round
The Deep HollowsThe biome core: apex predators and the awakened guardianThe sand and the bleed plus −15% team attack

A new enemy — the Living Ore Vein. A stationary damage-race: huge health, it strikes back when hit, and it regrows between your blows. Brute force loses — you have to out-damage its healing. It's "the ore fights back," made mechanical, and it biases its drops toward metal.

The herald. At the very bottom waits The Awakened Guardian — a corrupted megafauna beast, stone-plated and mecha-infected. Beat it and the deepest, richest materials open up.

What you carry out scales with the danger: common ore and protein up top, rare voidsteel and living resin in the mid-depths, mythic aetheric crystal in the core. Because this is an event world, a resolved Sonentius drop pays out triple units — a deliberate faucet feeding the Kitchen.

The drop rule of thumb: ore drops ore, animals drop protein, flora drops plants. Higher Journey difficulty tiers pull the rarer minerals (Voidsteel Ore, Aetheric Crystal). Gear with a Journey gather bonus raises your Sonentius drops — see the Legendaries below.

5. Producers (Home Base)

Two Sonentius producers give you a passive lane so you're not fully dependent on active Journey runs. Both are crafted with the same assemble cook, then placed in a Home Base plot and worked each harvest window.

AssembleKitchen LvSuccessInputsOutput
Assemble: Sonentite Mine850%25× Pulse Eggs + 15× Echo SporesSonentite Mine
Assemble: Resonance Foundry850%25× Pulse Eggs + 15× Echo SporesResonance Foundry

(Pulse Eggs and Echo Spores are standard Kitchen ingredients.)

Sonentite Mine — passive ore

An avatar-worker mine. Commit avatars to its sub-slots and it mints Sonentius ore/slag each window, scaled to committed avatar power. More and stronger avatars mean more ore. Great for topping up between runs.

Resonance Foundry — your Aetherspore tap

Cultivated Aetherspore has exactly one source: the Resonance Foundry. It does not drop in the Journey and is not sold anywhere. Fuel it with raw ore/slag — plant Sonentite Ore, Sonentius Slag, Voidsteel Ore, or Aetheric Crystal into its slot — and each window it yields roughly one Aetherspore per planted seed. The ore is fuel (one charge consumed per window), not a 1:1 transmute. It's a deliberately slow, gated trickle for a late-layer key material, so build your Foundry early.

New to producers?

Producers are the Kitchen's idle refinery loop. If the mechanics above are new, read Producers and Sub-Slots first — the same slot, avatar-worker, and harvest rules apply here.

6. Refining (Kitchen)

Turn raw ore into the refined ingots the mid- and late build needs:

RecipeKitchen LvSuccessInputsOutput
Smelt Sonentite590%3× Sonentite Ore + 1× Sonentius SlagRefined Sonentite Ingot
Forge Voidsteel1085%3× Voidsteel Ore + 2× Sonentius SlagVoidsteel Ingot

Voidsteel Ingot is the bottleneck. It's the backbone input for both Legendaries and every high SkyScape tier. Don't burn your only Voidsteel Ore on anything else if you're aiming for the Pickaxe or Scope.

7. Assembling Fragments — raising the build

Every assembly cook outputs Sonentius Fragments, the currency of the shared goal. There are three assembly recipes, kept deliberately simple — they need only raw ore and slag, and each awards double the usual Kitchen XP, so contributing to the SkyScape levels your Kitchen twice as fast.

AssemblyKitchen LvSuccessInputsFragments
Small5100%6× Sonentite Ore + 3× Sonentius Slag5
Standard10100%8× Sonentite Ore + 4× Sonentius Slag10
Grand15100%10× Sonentite Ore + 5× Sonentius Slag20

All three assemblies are guaranteed to succeed — no gear or Kitchen stats needed, so every material you commit lands as Fragments. The ingredient step between tiers is small but the Fragment payout doubles, so the Grand assembly is the best value per material — the higher recipe is always the one to aim for.

The rising monument

As the community's global Fragment total climbs toward the 1,000-Fragment goal, the SkyScape rises through its named layers — the visible, shared scoreboard:

Foundation Anchors → Support Struts → Hydro Gardens → Foundry Floor → Power Conduits → Lumen Arrays → Storm Turbines → Skyfarms → The Gateway → The Crown

You don't just watch a number go up — you watch a structure you helped build climb toward orbit.

The bar can go down — it's a "hold the line"

The total isn't a one-way climb. Once the campaign's later beats are active, a daily World Boss and planet calamities erode the build, so the community has to keep contributing just to hold ground. Progress can slip, but it never falls below 50% — the SkyScape can't be knocked all the way back down. This is what carries the event into its second phase, the Ground Base.

Once the monument is up — the Ground Base (Phase 2)

Raising the SkyScape isn't the end. The moment the monument stands, the campaign opens its second act — the Ground Base — and an "Open the Ground Base" card appears on the SkyScape surface. There the community digs in beneath the monument: vote which plots to build, fight a daily World Boss "Sentinel" siege, work communal farms, and keep feeding the shared build.

Phase 2 also swaps in a simpler, more flexible way to contribute: the Fragment Transmute. Instead of the fixed ore-and-slag assemblies, you throw a basket of any Sonentius ingredients into one cook and it's credited by rarity value — Standard = 1, Rare = 5, Mythical = 10 Fragments each (an exact conversion, up to ~10 items per cook). The old assemblies still work; the Transmute just lets you cash in whatever you're holding. See The Ground Base → The Fragment Transmute.

8. The Legendaries — the payoff

Two craft-only Legendary avatar-equipment pieces are the reward for committing to Sonentius. They are never bought and never sold — the only way to hold one is to forge it, in the Kitchen, from high-tier Sonentius materials. Both are Kitchen Lv 12 at 100% success (their rarity is targeted, never rolled), and each carries a signature effect that boosts the very loop that made it.

LegendarySlotSignatureInputs
Sonentius PickaxeWeapon+2 to every mineral drop (ore, slag, voidsteel, crystal) your team gathers7× Aetheric Crystal + 7× Voidsteel Ingot + 7× Voidsteel Ore + 7× Refined Sonentite Ingot
Sonentius ScopeHat+2 to every organic drop (xeno-protein, living resin) your team gathers7× Aetheric Crystal + 7× Voidsteel Ingot + 7× Living Resin + 7× Cultivated Aetherspore + 7× Refined Sonentite Ingot

Equip one and every qualifying haul comes back heavier — roll one ore with the Pickaxe on, receive three. They're the mechanical expression of "the more you commit to Sonentius, the better Sonentius pays you." The Scope is the deepest craft in the event (7× Aetherspore means a committed Foundry run); the Pickaxe skips Aetherspore but is Aetheric-Crystal-heavy. Both are equippable by any avatar, regardless of role.

9. Rewards, rank & the civic ladder

Sonentius rewards you on two axes at once — how much you contributed (personal milestones) and how you stack up (the leaderboard) — and wraps both in a civic metaphor: you're not a grinder, you're a citizen of a city you're building.

Contribution milestones

Personal gates that pay out as the global goal crosses each mark. You claim a milestone once the community reaches its share of the 1,000-Fragment goal and you've personally laid at least the listed minimum.

MilestoneGlobal goalYour FragmentsReward
Foundation Laid25%20+3,000 RSNC

SkyScape Complete100%500+10,000 RSNC · 10× Mythic Material Pack · 10× Mystery Pack · role SkyScape Founder

The civic ladder

Leaderboard standing becomes a title, from taking part all the way to the top:

SkyScape Citizen (took part) → SkyScape Nobel (top 250) → SkyScape Hero (top 100) → SkyScape Overseer (top 20) → SkyScape Board Member (top 5) → SkyScape Chairman (#1)

Everyone who lays a single Fragment is a Citizen of the rebuilt world; the ones who carried the most are its board. It's a status story, not just a payout table — which keeps a collaborative event competitive without making it zero-sum. Track your standing on the leaderboards.

A passive lane, too

Not everyone wants to run the whole Journey. Idle avatars can be sent on Sonentius Expeditions (Militia) that return the same campaign ingredients over time — a lower-intensity gather path so busy players still contribute to the shared build.

10. The Chronicle — the story you unlock by building

Sonentius tells its story the way the best events do: the narrative is a reward, gated behind collective progress. As the community's contribution climbs, the next Chronicle chapter unlocks — so the plot advances because players built it forward. Five chapters, at 0 / 25 / 50 / 75 / 100%.

Cold Signal (0% — the opening) The Cold Signal was already calling long before the first builder reached Sonentius — a faint, patient pulse threading the dark. Its source: the Soneian SkyScape, dormant across a broken horizon. The explorers found it sleeping. Breathtaking. Hostile. And beneath the silence, unmistakably alive.

The Call to Build (25%) The avatars answer. Gathered ore is smelted, living resin is poured, and the first Foundation Anchors are driven deep into Sonentius bedrock. As the last anchor seats home, a single dormant node flickers, catches, and begins to hum. One warm light in a field of dark. The SkyScape remembers how to rise.

The World Hardens (50%) Layer by layer the lattice climbs toward the clouds; conduits cold for centuries flush with light. But Sonentius does not surrender its monument freely. The Foundry Rifts crack open and bleed void-wraiths; the Crystal Spires rouse their ancient sentinels. The world hardens — and still the community presses on.

Orbital Approach (75%) The SkyScape reaches for orbit. The great Aether-spire ignites, and cultivated Aetherspore pours into the final assembly. The lattice begins to sing across the void — a chord this world has not heard in a thousand years. The Orbital Gate shimmers into being at the edge of sight.

The Crown (100% — the payoff) The Soneian SkyScape locks into its orbital crown, and light races the full length of the lattice — every conduit blazing, every engine roaring awake at once. Woven into it is every builder's contribution, every fragment carried and set in place. The Convergence is complete. Sonentius is proof of what a community can raise together.

11. How to jump in

Sonentius is open — here's how to get moving fast:

  1. Level your Kitchen. The core path wants Lv 5 (Small assembly, Smelt), Lv 8 (both producers), Lv 10 (Standard, Forge Voidsteel), Lv 12 (Legendaries), Lv 15 (Grand). See Kitchen progression.
  2. Build a strong roster. Combat is gathering here, and avatars power your Sonentite Mine — a deep roster pays off twice.
  3. Learn the producer loop. Read Producers and Sub-Slots so you can stand up a Resonance Foundry early — the Aetherspore trickle is slow, so a head start matters most.
  4. Keep your usual momentum. Keep your Tune-In climbing and watch the community channels for event updates.

Your game plan

  1. Kitchen Lv 1–5: Run the Sonentius Journey for ore; cook Small assemblies for your first Fragments; learn the mineral/organic drop split.
  2. Lv 5–8: Start Smelt Sonentite. Build a Sonentite Mine and a Resonance Foundry (both Lv 8) — get the Aetherspore trickle going now.
  3. Lv 8–10: Cook Standard assemblies; begin Forge Voidsteel once you have Voidsteel Ore; bank Voidsteel Ingots.
  4. Lv 10–12: Push higher Journey difficulty for the rare/mythical minerals; forge your first Legendary — the Pickaxe if Aetherspore is thin, the Scope if your Foundry kept up.
  5. Lv 12+: Cook Grand assemblies and keep contributing toward the goal.

12. Quick reference

Materials cheat-sheet

  • Raw minerals: Sonentite Ore · Sonentius Slag · Voidsteel Ore (rare) · Aetheric Crystal (mythical)
  • Raw organics: Xeno-Protein · Living Resin (rare)
  • Refined: Refined Sonentite Ingot (Smelt) · Voidsteel Ingot (Forge Voidsteel)
  • Produced: Cultivated Aetherspore (Resonance Foundry only)
  • Contribution: Sonentius Fragment (all assemblies)

Gotchas

  • Aetherspore comes only from the Resonance Foundry — no drops, no shop. Build it early.
  • Voidsteel Ingot is the bottleneck for both Legendaries and every high tier — don't waste Voidsteel Ore.
  • All Sonentius materials are earned-only / hidden — you won't find them on the marketplace.
  • The Foundry yields a slow trickle (about one Aetherspore per planted seed per window); scale it by keeping every slot fed.

A live, limited-time event

Sonentius is open to everyone on play.rsnc.network — the SkyScape surface, the Journey event world, every recipe here, and (once the monument is raised) the Ground Base. It's a seasonal event, so it runs for a window and its numbers may be tuned as it goes.
